Expired films
All super8 and 16mm films on these pages are no longer manufactured. They have often been replaced by better emulsion types or simply disappeared when new techniques were introduced.
Most of the films listed on these pages can be developed by this S8RL. In many cases the results will be fine and useful. We also assume that they were exposed a long time ago, and that you want to know whether there is an image on it after all these years. In that case, you are most welcome. From 2023 onwards, I advise you not to buy unexposed expired films at second-hand markets or photo fairs because the result are very unpredictable, and the price for developing has become too high. It’s better not to take that risk and use new Kodak film material.
