View part 2 of 3 of this serie about the Kodak factory. It is really impressive to see this footage.
In this part you see how the emulsion is poured onto the base that was made in part 1. The process of emulsion casting is told quite extensively, and is sometimes difficult to follow because of the language. But after watching this long video you will understand much better how difficult film production really is. Basically what happens is that the transparent base is transported at a high speed under a falling emulsion stream.
