Voorlinden – Borremans – Bogaert

For the exhibition ‘Michaël Borremans – A Confrontation at the Zoo’ in museum Voorlinden, Thomas Bogaert made this film on super8. The exhibition was held from November 30th, 2024 until March 23, 2025. The original super8 material was developed in this lab. He used Kodak colour negative stock and a Nikon R10 camera.
Thomas is a long-time friend of the S8RL. He is a passionate artist who creates surprising images on super8 film every time. Put 10 scenes in a row and you can easily pick out Bogaert’s work. This Belgian artist has a very specific style of his own. Creating moving paintings or paintings moving.
