A poetic film made by Dutch artist Pieter Swier on black/white super8.
Pieter tell us; “A short film in which the connection between the landscape and the maker is explored. For this film I did seek out various spots at the river IJssel. These very spots formed the background of my youth and even today they still play an important role in my life. The complete film is recorded on analogue film. In this way I have tried to reduce the distance between myself and the landscape.”
