Original Wolfen UN54 16mm – 30m – one edge

This film is sold to make it easier available in the Netherlands.

This is a new product made by FilmoTec GmbH, Wolfen in cooperation with Wittner Cinetec of Germany. In other words, a product “Made in Germany.” It is an acetate-based black and white negative film in the 16mm format. The film can be exposed between 64 and 200 ISO. Exposure set to 100 ISO yields most often in fine results. This film type is also available (through other vendors) in 35mm film widths. It is a black and white negative emulsion that can also be developed as a b/w reversal film in this lab. We have experience with it.

You can view this black and white film immediately after a reversal process with a movie projector. If you choose negative development then you must have a digital scan or positive print made of it to view the final result.

The development of this film takes on average between 4 and 6 weeks because there is little demand of it. If you then also have it digitalised here you add 2 to 3 weeks on top of that. There are other labs in Europe like Haghefilm and Andec who develop 16mm b/w negative on a week-base.

The S8RL develops this film standard in a black and white reversal process. Development as a black negative is also possible on request but more expensive and then a minimum of 4 cassettes applies.
